He takes a pause before continuing, "We still suspect foul play though, what man dies in a sasquatch costume? He worked here, his name's Benjamin Silvera, head scientist, too. Turns out he was close to finding real sasquatch evidence, if that helps. Here's everything we have on this case so far, it seems to have everyone else stumped and they're all ready to close the case and call it natural causes. Maybe he was a freak that liked dressing as bigfoot, had a heart attack and fell over the railing, but you never know, turns out sasquatch research and conservation is a cut-throat world", the commissioner shakes his head before continuing.
 "I didn't want anyone but you to interview the staff, so we've told them all to stick around for questioning, so you should find them lying around. We haven't been able to find the new hire, Ryan Gammal, but the rest of the staff is here. We've tried not to give them too much information on our activity just yet, so if any of them turn out to be the killer, they might be caught off guard. Good luck." The commissioner turns away and closes the door behind him leaving you alone once more, an envelope of evidence weighs heavy in your hands. You look over at the front desk and see a brochure, you grab it and inside is a map of the place.

They could also belong to a mountain lion, but no one can really be sure. At the far end of the lab you spot a sullen gentleman leaning forward in his chair. His right elbow sits on the desk, supporting his head while covering his eyes, as his left hand rests on his leg, holding his glasses rather limply. You think those glasses could fall to the floor at any second. He looks like he may suspect what happened, he must be a smart man, being a scientist and all. You almost feel bad having to disturb an obviously bereaved scientist, perhaps you should allow him a moment to compose himself while you poke around a bit? Or remain professional and go straight for the interview?

You look all around the cramped space, and almost pull a muscle trying to get a good view. You turn around and leave, and notice a hook on the wall with a faded impression of what may have once been a clipboard. Disappointed by the lack of a clipboard, you leave the closet.

Resting on top is a sheet of paper, and upon closer inspection it's a summary of a recent trip into the mountains in response to a possible sasquatch sighting. Seems the police decided to make a copy of it right here with this machine and left it in the evidence file you now have. It's a bit blurry but readable nonetheless.

You open a filing cabinet that says "Sasquatch Existence" and find nothing inside. Another one labelled "Blurry Photos (Sasquatch?)" catches your attention, so you open that one and find numerous folders full of blurry trail camera photos with hardly a trace of anything identifiable. In the drawer below the label reads "Clear photos of wild life", and sure enough, you have beautiful photos of coyotes, mountains lions, etc. Nothing labelled "Murder Plans" to be found, or even "Nefarious Deeds", not that you expected something as cartoonish as that. There's even a cabinet with a card index for every document in the room. This office is so organized, there would hardly be anywhere to hide evidence of a murder or any foul play.]

You notice a trail of synthetic fibers across this small balcony, coming out from the inside.

The classic bigfoot footage plays on a small television to the right of the film reel. Apparent photographs are strewn through the displays, and a map hangs on one wall showing sightings from across the world. One case even has a list of hoaxes that have been debunked, claiming that debunking hoaxes is as important as finding evidence. You are impressed at the scale of this collection. You see a donation box in the corner, and above it is a plaque thanking their very wealthy and generous benefactor, whose identity has remained anonymous.
 You hear something near the stairs at the back clatter to the floor, catching your attention. You peer around the corner only to find no one around. You shrug it off, for now, and continue your work.

Quite the hazardous workstation you've found yourself in. You inspect your hand for injuries and find none, but instead your eyes notice something on the desk.
 Beneath the pages you've moved is a sticky note reading "Finish Research", and a small blood stain in the corner. You realize this is the spot where police found the life insurance policy, as illustrated by the evidence photo. The document must have been stained before his death, given that he had no life threatening injuries on his person at the time of death.

 "My name is Ryan, I’m a consultant. I work here! I’m supposed to be here!", they inform you. You recognize the name from the employee files and business card you found in the evidence file. You ask Ryan what they mean by "consultant".
 "I’m auditing paper trails on some missing documents at The International Sasquatch Research Institute, Ms. Caldwell is very worried about information leaks!" You find this interesting, but think Ryan may have something more relevant to tell you than that. You ask them what they were up to at the time of the murder. Ryan nervously answers, eyes darting about, "Umm... I was at home watching Dawson’s Creek! Yeah. Its a great show. I wasn’t anywhere near the institute. Why am I here now? Well... I thought I heard some coyotes and I wanted to come check it out. You see: I AM A SECURITY CONSULTANT! I wanted to make things were... secure."
 Ryan's answer feels off to you, and their body language suggests they may be hiding something, but before you can even ask another question Ryan cracks under the pressure you've barely put on them and they open up. "Okay, I'm partially lying. I was at home watching Dawson's Creek but I was so eager to start working that I came one night earlier than I was supposed to and discovered Ben's dead body in his office." You raise your eyebrows as they continue: "I was so shocked and in a panic that I stuffed him in the sasquatch costume and dumped his body off the balcony up there... It's not my proudest moment... I hope it doesn't affect the investigation, I'm sorry."
 You take pity on the poor coyote exterminator turned security consultant, you thank Ryan for the impromptu interview and information and begin to turn away. Ryan places a hand on your shoulder, so you turn around as they hand you Ben Silvera's ID card, "You might be able to get into some places the cops couldn't. Sarah was a bit intimidating and they didn't bother asking her for security clearance and I'm sure she wouldn't have done the same for you", Ryan says. Greatly appreciating the gesture, you thank Ryan before heading on your way.

 A single light bulb buzzes above you, and a door stands between you and the upstairs offices.

  Upon opening the door you find a lab full of equipment and machinery that almost reminds you of the Mountain Police Department's forensics lab. You see vials of fluids and solid matter you assume to be excrements, perhaps they belong to a sasquatch, you think to yourself, or maybe just a mountain lion. No one can really be sure. No one appears to be inside the lab, and the room is quiet, save for the gentle hum of a CRT monitor belonging to a computer at the front of the room. The lab is flanked by desks and shelving along the walls of the lab, with a long table running the length of the room. At the end is a closet, you assume for storing supplies.
